My watch displays time vertically for a few seconds after I remove it from the charger. Has anyone else seen this?

Not sure what you mean by vertically but it is normal for the Watch to display the time briefly when removed from the charger. If the Watch is held horizontally with the digital crown and side button on the top the time may be rotated. This is normal and is the nightstand view.
